Permit work, kept in order
Fewer permit setbacks for busy contractors.
RivetDocket is being built to make permit preparation and follow-up easier to manage—from the first project details to a reviewable application packet.
PROGRESS
piece by piece.
The day-to-day
The job is on site.
The paperwork is everywhere.
Every municipality has its own forms, details, and handoffs. Small gaps can turn a clean plan into another round of follow-up.
- 01
Requirements that change from one jurisdiction to the next
- 02
Repeated form filling across active jobs
- 03
Missing details discovered after an application is assembled
- 04
Status calls and correction requests scattered across inboxes
The workflow we’re building
From project details
to a clearer next step.
A practical place to prepare, check, and keep track—while leaving professional judgment and government decisions where they belong.
- 01
Start with the project
Bring the address, trade, scope, plans, and photos into one place.
- 02
See the local checklist
Surface likely permit needs and the details or files that may still be missing.
- 03
Prepare a reviewable draft
Organize application materials around the jurisdiction’s requirements, with gaps called out.
- 04
Keep the follow-up visible
Keep submission notes, deadlines, and correction requests with the project record.
↳ Coverage, digital submission, and optional human help depend on the jurisdiction and workflow.
Built for the people doing the work
Permit work is part
of the job in every trade.
Preparation support
A better paper trail.
Professional judgment stays human.
RivetDocket is designed to help organize information and make gaps easier to see. It supports contractors and reviewers; it does not replace licensed professionals or a government’s review or determination.
So does knowing what still needs review.
Before you reach out
A few useful
details.
Which jurisdictions does RivetDocket cover?
Initial jurisdiction coverage is still being defined. We’re taking a focused approach because permit requirements vary locally. Contact us to discuss the places where your team works.
Does RivetDocket submit permits automatically?
Government portal connections and digital submission are part of the product direction, but supported portals have not been established. A project record should never be mistaken for a government-verified submission.
Can it replace a permit professional or reviewer?
No. The goal is to support preparation and workflow. Contractors remain responsible for their work, qualified professionals provide their judgment, and the authority having jurisdiction makes the final determination.
